दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने शराब घोटाले के आरोपों में घिरे डिप्टी सीएम मनीष सिसोदिया की तुलना भगत सिंह से की तो बीजेपी ने सियासी घमासान छेड़ दिया. बीजेपी के प्रवक्ता शहजाद पूनावाला ने कहा कि भगत सिंह, महात्मा गांधी और सरदार पटेल जैसी महान विभूतियों को लेफ्ट और राइट में बांटना, आम आदमी पार्टी की मानसिकता को दिखाता है. आगे उन्होंने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी केवल भगत सिंह का नाम इस्तेमाल करना चाहती हैं लेकिन उनके आदर्शों पर नहीं चलना चाहती.
