ज्ञानवापी मामले में वाराणसी डिस्ट्रिक्ट कोर्ट के फ़ैसले से नया सस्पेंस आ गया है. कोर्ट ने ज्ञानवापी की कार्बन डेटिंग और वैज्ञानिक जांच की मांग खारिज कर दी है. कोर्ट ने फैसले में कहा कि इससे कथित शिवलिंग या फव्वारा क्षतिग्रस्त हो सकता है और लोगों की भावनाएं आहत हो सकती हैं. हिंदू पक्ष के लिये ये बड़ा झटका है. लेकिन उसने फैसले को हाईकोर्ट और सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती देने का ऐलान किया है.
