पाकिस्तान ने कहा कि इस्लामाबाद और नई दिल्ली के बीच पर्दे के पीछे कोई बातचीत नहीं हो रही है. विदेश राज्य मंत्री हिना रब्बानी खार ने संसद के ऊपरी सदन सीनेट को बताया, ‘इस समय ऐसी कोई बात नहीं चल रही है.’ उन्होंने कहा कि अनौपचारिक कूटनीति तब सही होती जब इसके कुछ नतीजे निकलते.

Pakistan said that there is no behind the scenes talks between Islamabad and New Delhi. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar told the Senate, the upper house of parliament, that "no such thing is going on at the moment." She said informal diplomacy would have been appropriate if it had yielded some results.
