Swami Vivekananda was a great spiritual leader. He is a source of motivation and inspiration for all Indians since he popularised Hinduism, Ayurveda and Yoga in the western world. His speech at world parliament of religions in Chicago resonated in America. Narendranath Datta was born in Bengal, studied at Metropolitan Institute (Vidyasagar College), Presidency college, Scottish Church College. He was inspired by Raja Rammohan Roy, Brahmo Samaaj, Western esotericism, freemasonry, transcendentalism. He saw his spiritual teacher in Ramkrishna Paramhansa. Here I tell the story of how Narendranath Dutta became Swami Vivekananda.
