Synopsis - Surang is a 1953 social film starring Chandrashekhar, Shashikala and Sheila Ramani. A quarry worker dies but the owner asks them to continue. Chandrashekhar, a workers’ leader approaches the owner but his daughter does not listen to them. The owner makes a promise to look after the children of the workers. A mad girl, Pagli laughs at this, because she believes it is false. The owner’s son, Vikas falls in love with her and we follow the story of how her behavior changes.
