Sridevi Was Getting Ready For Romantic Dinner Date Minutes Before She Died?

If reports are to be believed, then Sridevi was getting ready for a romantic dinner date with husband, Boney Kapoor minutes before she suffered a cardiac arrest and died.

After attending Mohit Marwah’s wedding, Boney Kapoor had left for India while Sridevi stayed back in Dubai. On Saturday, Boney flew back to Dubai to surprise his wife.

According to Khaleej Times, he went to her room in Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel around 5:30 pm. They spoke for some time and then he told her that they were going out for dinner. The actress then went into the bathroom as Boney waited for her. After 15 minutes Boney knocked on the door to check on her but didn’t get a response. He then forced open the door and found her lying motionless in the bathtub full of water. Reportedly, he tried to revive her but couldn’t. He then called a friend and they finally called the police at 9:00 pm.

The cops and the paramedics rushed to the hotel but they pronounced her dead. Her body was then taken to the General Department of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.

The actress’ body has not been handed over to her family yet and it is expected to arrive in Mumbai by Monday evening.
