Synopsis - Thambivudayaan' is about a youth, who is pained by the travails of farmers going hammer and tongs to get the due share of water from the neighbouring State. How he convinces the State machinery to take steps to release water forms the crux. Thambivudayaan (Adhitya Anbu) is a college student and his father is a Panchayat chief (Nizhalgal Ravi). They are good samaritans and help the peasants who suffer a lot as a result of drought. Thambi's grandfather (Charu Haasan) is a freedom fighter, who ends his life unable to see spate of suicides in the village due to poverty. Thambi resolves to bring an end to the issue.
