Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe collapsed during a speech in the city of Nara, in western Japan. Initial reports say he may have been injured. An NHK reporter on-site heard something that sounded like a gunshot and saw Abe bleeding, Japan's NHK WORLD News reported.

जापान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री शिंजो आबे को नारा शहर में भाषण देने के दौरान एक हमलावर ने गोली मार दी. इस घटना के बाद शिंजो बेहोश होकर गिर गए. उन्हें आनन-फानन में हेलीकॉप्टर से अस्पताल ले जाया गया. शिंजो की हालत बेहद नाजुक बताई जा रही है.
