In the modern era, the relationship proper between these two ancient peoples began in 1992, when formal diplomatic relationships were finally established between India and Israel. In the 25 years that have passed since then, the two nations have forged ties in every field of human endeavor: military and strategic ties; bilateral trade; science and technology; space exploration; agricultural cooperation; cultural ties; tourism; and people-to-people contacts.
