We had earlier reported that Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in Imtiaz Ali's next and now, we hear that his role in the movie is inspired by late superstar Dev Anand in Guide.

Reportedly, SRK will play a tourist guide, like Dev Anand's character in Vijay Anand's film, in the yet-untitled film and his character's graph too will have a lot of ups and downs. A source has been quoted saying that like Devsaab's character, Khan's character too ‘has moral epiphany' which changes his life completely.

Well now we know why Imtiaz chose Shah Rukh, as only a superstar like the Baadshah can fill in Devsaab's big shoes...
