Shah Rukh Khan To Star In Rajkumar Hirani's Next

Rajkumar Hirani had once said that he writes most of his stories keeping Shah Rukh Khan in mind however, the duo hasn’t done any film yet but it seems that that's about to change.

If reports are to be believed, then SRK has been meeting Hirani since the past couple of months and SRK has quite liked the idea and is keen to star in the movie. Buzz has it that an announcement will be made soon.

Hirani, who has made all his previous films under Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s banner, will be producing this film himself. Grapevine has it that it’s a romantic drama with a strong emotional cord running through it and is right up the King Khan’s alley.

For the uninitiated Hirani had offered his directorial debut Munna Bhai to SRK however, he had turned down the offer. The film then went to Sanjay Dutt and the rest as they say is history. Khan was also the first choice for Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots however, he opted out of that too and the movie then went to Aamir Khan.

Shah Rukh, who is presently holidaying with his kids in Maldives, hasn’t announced any project since the Zero debacle.
