Sanjay Dutt, who made his comeback to Bollywood with ‘Bhoomi’, is reviving his home banner after seven years with the Bollywood remake of South flick ‘Prasthanam’ and the film went on floors today.
A source attached to the unit revealed, “Sanjay wanted to take his film on floors on June 1 as it marks his late mother Nargis Dutt’s 89th birthday and the film went on floors in Lucknow today.” The political thriller stars Sanjay as the patriarch of a family, while Ali Fazal plays his son and Manisha Koirala plays his wife. Apart from the actors mentioned above, ‘Prasthanam’ also stars Amyra Dastur as Ali’s love interest.
Sanjay will be next seen in ‘Torbaaz’ and ‘Panipat’.
