Directed by Kaushik Ghatak and produced by Kavita K Barjatya under the Rajshri Productions banner, Samrat & Co stars the very talented actor Rajeev Khandelwal and Madalsa Sharma. Going by the trailer, it seems Rajeev has done a fine job of playing a detective. In the video, you get see him mouth some dhasu dialogues while solving a mysterious, impossible murder case. Well, that's what the trailer says. While Khandelwal has proved his mettle as an actor time and again by experimenting with his films, Samrat & Co somehow is a bit disappointing as the trailer looks like a rip off of British television series Sherlock which features Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes. Rajeev's attire and body language also seemed similar to Benedict. But that's not surprising as these days many Bollywood films are inspired from Hollywood flicks and TV shows, hai na? Overall the trailer of Samrat & Co isn't too bad but that's only coz of Rajeev Khandelwal.

While we aren't maha impressed with the trailer of Rajeev's upcoming film, we hope our opinion changes when we actually see the movie in the theater. For now, Bollywoodlifers you watch the video and tell us what you think!
