Salman Khan's Tubelight BREAKS Baahubali 2 Records Even Before It's Release

SS Rajamouli’s epic war drama ‘Baahubali-The Conclusion’, which was easily this year’s most awaited film, set many benchmarks not only at the box-office, but also with regards to the number of screens it released at but now, Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Tubelight’ just broke a record set by Rajamouli’s blockbuster.



‘Baahubali 2’ had released in around 9000 screens worldwide, with 6500 of it being in India and had 1100 screens in US and 180 in Canada. However, Salman’s ‘Tubelight’ will release across 9500-10000 screens worldwide and though the domestic capping of screens for Tubelight remains the same at 6500 screens, it will get 330 screens in the US and 215 screens in the UK alone. It will also be released in over 50 countries at the same time.



Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘Tubelight’, which also stars Sohail Khan, Om Puri and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, will release on June 23.
