Apparently Salman Khan has signed on Karan Johar's Shuddhi! There have been some rumours doing the rounds for a few days now that the superstar was being considered for the film -- although Karan Johar responded to media queries by saying the project had not be cast -- but a source confirmed that he has indeed signed the film.

There has been a lot of trouble over the casting for Shuddhi. Initially, Hrithik Roshan was supposed to do it opposite Kareena Kapoor, but his illness threw his schedule off. Since then, KJo has reportedly approached actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and of course Ranveer Singh, who apparently gave up the project because he wanted to do Bajirao Mastani instead.

We are awaiting the official statement about KJo's ambitious project.
