by www.bollywoodlife.com

Saif Ali Khan punching the South African businessman Iqbal Sharma at Mumbai's Taj Hotel had caught the headlines two years ago. Khan was arrested for allegedly punching the NRI businessman and his relative at a Japanese restaurant in the aforementioned five star hotel. And now the verdict of that notorious case is out. Saif, we hear, has been charged under Section 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The Bullett Raja actor and two of his friends were booked for allegedly assaulting Iqbal Sharma after the latter told the Saif gang- that was dining at the table next to Sharma's-to keep the noise levels low.

After Sharma's request to keep the noise down, Saifu asked the complainer to find silence in a library with arrogance. Even when Sharma tried to change the table the Nawab used abusive language and went on to hit Sharma and his father-in-law who tried to intervene to douse the fire.

We hear that the hearing in the case against the actor will begin from April 30, 2014.
