Former India captain and legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar recalled his retirement and said that getting runs in a losing cause isn't as satisfying as scoring less, but winning the match. The former player was present in Mumbai on Tuesday for a Conclave on Sachin Tendulkar organised by India Today.
When asked about Tendulkar's biggest regrets of his life, Gavaskar said, "The times that he scored runs and India lost and the times he didn't score and India lost. Those are the things he would regret most."
