संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा में विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने कहा कि भारत ने हाल ही में G20 की सफल अध्यक्षता की। उन्होंने कहा कि एक पृथ्वी, एक परिवार, एक भविष्य' का भारत का दृष्टिकोण महज कुछ देशों के संकीर्ण हितों पर नहीं, बल्कि कई राष्ट्रों की प्रमुख चिंताओं पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने का प्रयास करता है। विदेश मंत्री ने कहा कि वे दिन बीत गये जब कुछ राष्ट्र एजेंडा तय करते थे और उम्मीद करते थे कि दूसरे भी उनकी बातें मान लें। जयशंकर ने कहा कि अब कुछ देशों एजेंडा नहीं चला सकते। भारत की पहल पर अफ्रीका संघ पहली बार G20 का स्थाई सदस्य बना। G20 घोषणापत्र में सभी देशों की बातें सुनी गई। दुनिया अभूतपूर्व तनाव से गुजर रही है। दुनिया के कई क्षेत्रों में संघर्ष चल रहे हैं। भारत अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को समझता है।

Speaking at the UN General Assembly, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that India recently held the successful presidency of the G20. He said India's vision of 'One Earth, One Family, One Future' seeks to focus on the core concerns of many nations and not just on the narrow interests of a few countries. The External Affairs Minister said that gone are the days when some nations set the agenda and expected others to accept their views. Jaishankar said that now some countries cannot run the agenda. On the initiative of India, the African Union became a permanent member of G20 for the first time. The views of all countries were heard in the G20 manifesto. The world is going through unprecedented stress. There are conflicts going on in many areas of the world. India understands its responsibilities.
