Rustom | Mohenjo Daro Box office collection | Who Won The First Day Battle

Rustom and Mohenjodaro clash in August witnessed a huge war at Box office. At one hand, we had Khiladi kumar and on the other hand handsome duggu!
The clash was not just in the movies, but also in the stardom of the two megastars of Bollywood. And well, well…the result's out…not just critically, but also commercially Rustom has had a clear victory over mohenjodaro. Box office collections are out.
Rustom's first day collection was Rs.14.11 crores, jMohenjodaro stopped at Rs. 8.87 crores. Second and third Days also saw the lead of Rustom over Mohenjodaro. In the opening weekend, Akshay starrer's collection was Rs. 5o crore, whereas Hrithik starrer could only make Rs.30 crore.
Genre of both the movies is quite different. Rustom is based on the nanavati case whereas mohenjo daro is a historic film…but the BO collections are a proof that the audience has preferred akki over duggu.
