Ranveer Singh's character in Gunday is very much like Amitabh Bachchan's angry young man characters from the 70s movies. And Ranveer is thrilled that people are drawing comparisons between him and the megastar.

In a recent interview the energetic actor said, "I don't know if my character is similar or inspired by anyone. Somebody who works closely with Yash Raj Films said to me that he gets a vibe of young Mr Amitabh Bachchan by looking at me in Gunday. It is a huge compliment. Mr Bachchan is more than the reason for me to become an actor. I wanted to become actor because I used to watch Hindi films and was inspired by him."

Well, we hope that the actor manages to create the same impact at the Shahenshah of B-town did when his film's hit the theatres.
