Ranveer denied his relationship with Deepika Padukone completely in a recent interview. Ranveer said that they're both extremely close, just not romantically. Calling her his closest friend, he brushed off all the rumours that have been linking them together.

He also claimed that the fact that they never shy away from posing for shutterbugs together is because they have nothing to hide and it is, in fact, only a strong friendship they share.
