It's award season again and the 59th edition of the prestigious Filmfare awards is to be held on the 24th of January.

Known for its toungue-in-cheek hosting, Filmfare had King Khan SRK and Nawaab Saif Ali Khan hosting the event last year. This year, the dynamic duo has been replaced by priyanka chopra and ranbir kapoor. Ranbir has hosted the event before with Imran Khan in 2011.

Talking about hosting the show, PC says "Very few girls have hosted the awards. But yes, there is a huge pressure because Filmfare as an event has always been entertaining, funny and there has been a standard set by a lot of people, including Ranbir himself. Whether it is Shah Rukh (Khan), Saif (Ali Khan), Ranbir, Imran (Khan)... so many people who have hosted the show, they have always set the standard. So, it is scary and exciting."

Interestingly enough, Ranbir and PC were rumoured to be dating during the shoot of Anjaanaa Anjaani. They also were part of the truly spectacular Barfi in 2012.

We are looking forward to see some sizzling chemistry.
