If media reports are to be believed, then Ranbir and Aamir would battle it out at the box office this year

The makers of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer Bombay Velvet are eyeing a Christmas release as are the makers' of Aamir KHan's PK. Khan's recent films --Dhoom:3, 3 Idiots, Ghajini and Taare Zameen Par hit the theatres during Christmas and did fabulous business. We wonder if Aamir is insisting a christmas release because he believes it's lucky.


If these two films release on the same day then it's going to be one of the biggest box office battles of 2014.

Talking about the issue, Vikas Bahl the co-producer of Bombay Velvet said, "Right now, all I can say is that our film we be ready around October. So we can choose any date in December or otherwise. We are yet to take a final call."

As both are big ticket releases with a lot of money riding on then, we think,it'd be smart if the makers compromise in some way and avert this clash!
