Born on March 27, 1985, Ram Charan Teja is known for his works primarily in Telugu cinema. Son of Southern megastar Chiranjeevi, Charan made his film debut as the leading man in the film Chirutha. His performance in the film earned him a Filmfare Best South Debutant Award and Nandi Special Jury Award.

After the release of the 2009 blockbuster Magadheera, which was only his second film, Charan established himself as one of the leading contemporary actors of Tollywood.

Recently though, he also made his Bollywood debut with Zanjeer which tanked without a trace.

Apart from being an actor, Ram also owns a Polo team with the name of Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club.

He also ranked fifth in the survey conducted by Star India for the top sexiest actors.
