रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने गुरुवार को कहा, "धैर्य राखिए," (धैर्य रखें) क्योंकि उनकी जनसभा में कुछ लोग चिल्ला रहे थे कि वे पाकिस्तान अधिकृत कश्मीर (पीओके) चाहते हैं। हिमाचल के कांगड़ा जिले के जयसिंहपुर कस्बे में एक जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए, सिंह ने मुस्कुराते हुए कहा, 'धैर्य राखिए जब भीड़ में कुछ लोगों ने 'हमें पीओके चाहिए' कहा। सिंह ने कहा, "आज हिमाचल प्रदेश में एक नहीं बल्कि छह मेडिकल कॉलेज या तो खुले हैं या खोले जा रहे हैं। यहां एम्स भी खोला गया है।" रक्षा मंत्री ने जम्मू-कश्मीर से अनुच्छेद 370 को निरस्त करने के केंद्र के फैसले की सराहना की और कहा, "अनुच्छेद 370 के निरस्त होने के बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर में आतंकवाद की घटनाओं में कमी आई है। मैं आपको आश्वस्त करना चाहता हूं कि देश से आतंकवाद का खात्मा हो जाएगा"

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said "Dhairya rakhiye,"(Be patient) as some people in his public meeting shouted they want Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(POK). Addressing a public meeting in Jaisinghpur town of Himachal`s Kangra district, Singh smiled and said 'Dhairya rakhiye after some people saying in crowd chanted 'we want POK'. "Today, not one but six medical colleges have either opened or are being opened in the state of Himachal Pradesh. AIIMS has too been opened here," Singh said. The Defence Minister hailed the centre's decision to abrogate Article 370 from J&K and said, "The incidents of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir have come down after the abrogation of Article 370. I want to assure you that terrorism will be eradicated from the country"
