Raees Official Trailer Review - Shahrukh Khan | Nawazuddin Siddiqui

After playing the quintessential romantic hero in his past few films, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a gritty avatar after a long time in Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Raees’ and the trailer of the much-awaited film is finally out!! The trailer starts off with a voiceover by Raees (Khan), a bootlegger from Gujarat, who describes his dedication to his business and goes on to show the rivalry between Raees Khan and ACP Ghulam Patel (played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui), who wants to bring down Khan’s illegal empire at any cost. The film also stars Mahira Khan as the love interest of Raees Khan.

As for the trailer, we were blown away by the background score, which reminded us of the larger-than-life films starring Amitabh Bachchan made by Prakash Mehra and Manmohan Desai in the 70s. Apart from the kick-ass music, the trailer also has some cool one-liners and the dialogues by Khan and Nawazuddin are sure to provoke whistles from the audience. SRK looks deadly and dashing in his pathanis, slicked back hair, kohl-rimmed eyes and steel-rimmed spectacles. Needless to say, this film will be an absolute treat for fans of the King Khan.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, ‘Raees’, which is based on the life of alleged bootlegger Abdul Latif, is slated to release on January 25.
