सिद्धू के पंजाब में कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष पद से इस्तीफा देने के बाद कांग्रेस पार्टी से इस्तीफों का दौर जारी है. सूत्रों के हवाले से खबर है कि रजिया सुल्ताना के बाद परगट सिंह ने भी अपने मंत्रीपद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है. हालांकि इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं हुई है.
