Priyanka Chopra Comes With An Injured Knee To The Sky Is Pink Wrap Up Party

Priyanka Chopra’s last Bollywood movie, Jai Gangaajal had released in 2016 and fans of the actress have been eagerly waiting to watch the Quantico star in a Bollywood film. PeeCee will be next seen in The Sky Is Pink and she recently partied with the film’s team to celebrate its wrap.

Priyanka arrived in a white satin ruched button up dress from Danielle Guizio’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection and teamed it with a pair of bright yellow shooties. However, what caught everyone’s attention was PeeCee’s injured knee. She had a black knee brace around her left knee and we wonder why she chose to wear heels with it. Anyway, PeeCee looked stunning as usual.

She also shared some pictures from the wrap-up bash with her fans and along with it she wrote, “And it's a wrap. This movie is special to me on so many levels. Not just because Roy Kapur Films and RSVP Movies partnered with me on my first Hindi production... But also took the chance on me to bring to life a character and a true story that needed to be told."

Priyanka will be seen opposite Farhan Akhtar in The Sky Is Pink, which has been directed by Shonali Bose. The biographical drama is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13. Zaira Wasim, of Dangal fame, is playing Aisha while Farhan and Priyanka are playing her parents in the movie, which will hit the theatres on October 11.

Also present at the party were Zaira, Shonali and producer Siddharth Roy Kapur among others. Farhan however was conspicuous by his absence.
