Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif to clash at the box office

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's biopic on Manipuri boxer Mary Kom starring Priyanka Chopra in the lead will hit the theatres on October 2. Katrina Kaif's Phantom with Saif Ali Khan and Bang Bang opposite Hrithik Roshan will also be releasing on the same day.

Since it's the longest weekend of 2014 as Friday is Dussehra followed by Eid on Monday, we aren't surprised that three big films will be battling out at the ticket windows

It should be noted that Mary Kom biopic has generated great buzz amongst the masses so it does have an advantage over both of Kat's films. As for their Box Office fate, we'd have to wait and watch.
