Prashant Ingole - Lyricist Malhari, Fitoori, Gajanana Of Bajirao Mastani

Prashant Ingole, lyricist for songs like Adhure, Teri Baari, Saudebaazi, Ziddi Dil from Mary Kom and more recently, Malhari, Fitoori and Gajanana from the upcoming Bajirao Mastani directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Prashant Ingole talks about how he landed up with the offer of writing for a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film and his experience of working with the acclaimed director. Malhari and Gajanana have been popular since the time they first released and interestingly, Gajanana has been chosen for the Guiness Book Of World Records for the usage of Ganpati Bappa's many names in the song.
Prashant reveals that he charges 1.5 lakhs per song and believes that his work is good quality and believes that the producers he has worked with are aware of this fact. He also talks about the film industry and its grey shades and how he has adapted in the years he has been here. Prashant works on 3-4 films in a year and doesn’t want to trade creative quality over quantity. The one thing he looks for the most from his work is job satisfaction.
