The trailer of upcoming epic saga ‘Baahubali-The Conclusion’ was unveiled today and we have some great news for all those aspiring bodybuilders out there, who were awestruck by South superstar Prabhas’ impressive physique.
A source close to the star revealed his diet and workout regimen, which we will be sharing with our readers today…
From what we have heard, Prabhas visited the US where he interacted with the wrestlers of WWE to understand their extensive training regimen. The actor studied their workout sessions, imbibing their mindset and body language to build body. On returning back to India, Prabhas got the equipment, costing Rs. 1.5 crore, shipped to his home, where he built a personal gym imitating the set-up of the WWE wrestlers.
Prabhas used to work out for six hours daily, and would start training early in the morning. His regime would start with about one and a half hours of cardio and in the evenings, for strengthening his body muscles, he would lift weight for about one and a half hours.
The actor gained a whopping 20 kilos for his part as Amarendra Baahubali and his typical diet consisted of fish, 40 egg whites, vegetables and almonds. Prabhas used to take a meal every two hours, and had a total of six meals every day. The total calorie intake of Prabhas while shooting for Baahubali was between 2000 to 4000 calories a day.
With a workout and diet regimen like this, no wonder Prabhas looks like a god of war in ‘Baahubali 2’, which is slated to release on April 28.
