The biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was announced only in January and PM Narendra Modi, the film is now ready to hit the theaters. The movie will release on April 5 and the trailer of the film was unveiled on the auspicious occasion of Holi.

Vivek Oberoi is playing the titular role in the film and the trailer begins with a biased media person planning to run a show titled ‘The End Of Narendra Modi’ in consensus with the chief of opposition party and people are heard taking jibes at the chaiwala for dreaming to become the Prime Minister of India.

The film chronicles the journey of NaMo from being a young patriot to being the Prime Minister of the largest democracy in the world. The trailer shows a young Narendra Modi telling his mom that he wants to become a sanyasi and leaving for the Himalayas. He is also shown helping his father sell tea and running the state of Gujarat as a Chief Minister. The trailer covers many milestones of Modi’s life, right from him handling the Akshardham terror attacks to him asking Ratan Tata to set up his Nano factory in Sanand.

While Vivek is impressive as the young Modi, despite using prosthetics he fails to look like Modi as we know him today and that’s a downer. Boman Irani is playing Ratan Tata in the movie and Manoj Joshi is playing Amit Shah.

The film is releasing a few days before the 2019 General Elections, and if it is better than the trailer, then it can certainly help the ruling
