प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज जम्मू-कश्मीर में कई विकास परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन और शिलान्यास करेंगे। पीएम मोदी केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के दो दिवसीय दौरे पर रहेंगे और कल श्रीनगर में 10वें अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस (आईडीवाई) समारोह का नेतृत्व करेंगे। इस साल जम्मू-कश्मीर में विधानसभा चुनाव होने हैं और तीसरी बार सरकार बनाने के बाद पीएम मोदी का पहला दौरा इस पृष्ठभूमि में महत्वपूर्ण है। 2018 से जम्मू-कश्मीर में विधानसभा नहीं है और भाजपा द्वारा पीडीपी के साथ गठबंधन खत्म करने के बाद राज्यपाल शासन लागू कर दिया गया था।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects in Jammu and Kashmir today. PM Modi will be on a two-day visit to the Union Territory and will lead the 10th International Day of Yoga (IDY) celebrations in Srinagar tomorrow. Assembly elections are due in Jammu and Kashmir this year and PM Modi's first visit after forming the government for the third time is significant in this backdrop. Jammu and Kashmir has no assembly since 2018 and Governor's rule was imposed after the BJP ended its alliance with the PDP.
