मिस्र के दौरे पर गए प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने आज राजधानी काहिरा स्थित अल-हकीम मस्जिद का दौरा किया. 11वीं सदी की यह मस्जिद काहिरा में दाऊदी बोहरा समुदाय के लिए बहुत ही ज्‍यादा सांस्‍कृतिक महत्‍व रखती है। इस समुदाय की मदद से ही इस मस्जिद का निर्माण किया गया था। फरवरी में इस मस्जिद को दोबारा खोला गया था। कई विशेषज्ञ हजारों साल पुरानी इस मस्जिद में पीएम मोदी यात्रा को काफी अलग तरीके से देख रहे हैं। उनका कहना है कि मिस्र आकर इस मस्जिद का दौरा करना द्विपक्षीय संबंधों में गेम चेंजर होगा। उन्‍होंने उनके इस दौरे की तारीफ की है।

Prime Minister Modi, who is on a tour of Egypt, today visited the Al-Hakim Mosque in the capital Cairo. This 11th-century mosque holds great cultural significance for the Dawoodi Bohra community in Cairo. This mosque was built with the help of this community. The mosque was reopened in February. Many experts are looking at PM Modi's visit to this thousand-year-old mosque in a very different way.
