भारत के तीसरे चंद्र मिशन 'चंद्रयान-3' (Chandrayaan-3) को लॉन्च कर दिया गया है। चंद्रयान-3 ने दोपहर 2:35 बजे चंद्रमा की ओर उड़ान भरा। इसे आंध्र प्रदेश के श्रीहरिकोटा स्थित सतीश धवन स्पेस सेंटर से छोड़ा गया है। 615 करोड़ की लागत से तैयार हुआ यह मिशन करीब 50 दिन की यात्रा के बाद चंद्रमा के दक्षिणी ध्रुव के पास लैंड करेगा। 'चंद्रयान-3' को भेजने के लिए LVM-3 लॉन्चर का इस्तेमाल किया गया है। अगर दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर लैंडर की सॉफ्ट लैंडिग होती है, तो भारत दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर पहुंचने वाला विश्व का पहला देश बन जाएगा। वहीं, पीएम मोदी ने ट्वीट कर शुभकामनाएं दीं और कहा कि आज का दिन सुनहरे अक्षरों में अंकित रहेगा।
