प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी शुक्रवार को गीता प्रेस के शताब्दी समारोह के समापन समारोह में शामिल होने और वंदे भारत ट्रेनों को हरी झंडी दिखाने के लिए गोरखपुर पहुंचे। मोदी के आगमन पर राज्यपाल आनंदीबेन पटेल और मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने उनका स्वागत किया। इससे पहले दिन में मोदी ने भी छत्तीसगढ़ का दौरा किया और कांग्रेस पार्टी पर तीखा हमला बोला और कहा कि वह भ्रष्टाचार के बिना सांस नहीं ले सकती. उन्होंने कहा, ''छत्तीसगढ़ के विकास के सामने एक बड़ा पंजा दीवार बनकर खड़ा हो गया है। यह कांग्रेस का पंजा है, जो आपसे आपका हक छीन रहा है।''

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday arrived in Gorakhpur to attend the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Gita Press and flag off Vande Bharat trains. Upon his arrival, Modi was welcomed by governor Anandiben Patel and chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Earlier in the day, Modi also visited Chhattisgarh and launched a scathing attack on Congress party and said that it cannot breathe without corruption. "A big 'panja' (palm) has stood like a wall in front of the development of Chhattisgarh. This is the 'panja' of Congress, which is snatching your rights from you.
