The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) outfit Jaipur Pink Panthers have received a boost with the inclusion of Brijendra Chaudhary. He joins the squad as a replacement for Amit Hooda, who is reportedly bowing out due to an injury.

According to a source in the know of the developments, “Brijendra was bought by Haryana Steelers in the PKL 8 auction for ₹55 lakhs. However, they ended up releasing him before the start of the season citing fitness concerns. As it happens, Jaipur have signed the player, who has become fit and available to participate in the PKL.”

Another source told Khel Now, “If the player was released by the Steelers citing injury concerns, then how could he recover so quickly to turn out for Jaipur Pink Panthers. There is more to the situation than a mere injury issue.”
