पाकिस्तान के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति परवेज मुशर्रफ का दुबई में निधन हो गया. परवेज मुशर्रफ गंभीर बीमारियों के शिकार थे. मुशर्रफ 2001 से 2008 तक पाकिस्तान के राष्ट्रपति रहे. इसके पहले वो आर्मी चीफ भी रहे चुके थे. परवेज मुशर्रफ को करगिल की जंग के लिए सीधे तौर पर जिम्मेदार ठहराया जाता है. उन्होंने ही पाकिस्तान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मियां नवाज शरीफ का तख्तापलट किया था.
