जयशंकर के जाने से पहले ही पाकिस्तान में दंगे-फसाद जैसे हालात दिख रहे हैं...इस समय भी इस्लामाबाद की सड़कों पर पुलिस और इमरान के समर्थक दो-दो हाथ कर रहे हैं..पुलिस आंसू गैस और गोलियां चला रही है..जबकि इमरान समर्थक पत्थर और गैस मास्क से लैस होकर मुकाबला कर रहे हैं..पाकिस्तान के अलग-अलग शहरों से हजारों लोग इमरान की रिहाई के लिये इस्लामाबाद में प्रदर्शन करने आए..हालात इतने खराब हो गये कि शहबाज शरीफ की पुलिस फेल हो गई..और मजबूरन पाकिस्तान की सेना अपनी जनता पर लाठी डंडे और गोली चलाने सड़कों पर उतर गई

Even before Jaishankar's departure, riot-like conditions are visible in Pakistan... even now, police and Imran's supporters are fighting on the streets of Islamabad... police is firing tear gas and bullets... while Imran's supporters are fighting back armed with stones and gas masks... thousands of people from different cities of Pakistan came to protest in Islamabad for Imran's release... the situation became so bad that Shahbaz Sharif's police failed... and Pakistan's army was forced to come on the streets to use sticks and bullets on its people
