At least 12 people were killed and several others injured in a deadly stampede at a Ramzan food distribution centre in Pakistan's Karachi on Friday. The victims included women and children, they confirmed. According to reports, the stampede was triggered when some people unintentionally stepped on a live wire at the distribution centre. Soon, people started pushing and pulling, forcing some into a nearby drain, the police said.
