A day ago, Shahid Kapoor had promised that the first look of ‘Padmavati’ will be out on September 21 and today, Deepika’s look from the film, which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was revealed on Twitter.

Sharing the poster on Twitter, Deepika said, “On the auspicious day of Navratri, meet Rani Padmavati #Padmavati @FilmPadmavati.” Shahid tweeted, “The Queen of Chittod, the symbol of valor and beauty” #Padmavati @FilmPadmavati @deepikapadukone @RanveerOfficial” and Ranveer wrote, “#Padmavati @FilmPadmavati. The Queen of Chittod.”

Decked with jewelry all over and donning authentic ethnic attire, Deepika is sporting an intense look and looks regally beautiful.

Reportedly, the period drama, which was earlier slated to release on November 17, has been postponed and will now hit the big screens in February 2018.
