As a country, we’re always so vocal with our opinions and outrage. But when it comes to discussing menstruation, it’s treated like a taboo or a “ladies problem” that we never address as a whole.

It’s this stereotype that Being Indian and Star India, in collaboration with the Akshay Kumar-starrer Pad Man, want to break with a simple social experiment.

Take a look at how otherwise chivalrous men react if they see a woman accidentally drop a sanitary pad from her bag.

While the results seem hilarious at first, they’re really a reality check that maybe, we need to think differently about periods, and adopt a #NayiSoch, just like India’s superhero Pad Man did.
