अखिल भारतीय मजलिस-ए-इत्तेहादुल मुस्लिमीन (एआईएमआईएम) के प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने मंगलवार को अपने राज्य प्रमुख बंदी संजय के दावे पर भाजपा पर तीखा हमला किया कि वह "तेलंगाना के पुराने शहर में सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक" करेगी। कह रहा है कि इसके बजाय चीन पर सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक करनी चाहिए। 2020 में एक जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए, बंदी संजय ने कहा था कि सत्तारूढ़ भारत राष्ट्र समिति (टीआरएस) और एआईएमआईएम प्रमुख ओवैसी रोहिंग्या, पाकिस्तानी और अफगानिस्तानी मतदाताओं की मदद से जीएचएमसी चुनाव जीतने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं।
