मौसम विभाग ने महाराष्ट्र के पालघर , नासिक , पुणे में 11 से 14 जुलाई तक रेड अलर्ट, रायगढ़ जिले में 12 और 13 जुलाई को रेड अलर्ट, रत्नागिरी और कोल्हापुर में 12 जुलाई को रेड अलर्ट, गडचिरोली जिले में 12 जुलाई को रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है. इसके अलावा मौसम विभाग ने मुंबई में आनेवाले तीन दिनों के लिए ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया है.
