गर्मी बढ़ने के साथ ही उत्तराखंड के जंगलों में आग विकराल रूप लेने लगी है. नैनीताल-भवाली रोड पर पाइंस के जंगलों में भीषण आग की चपेट में जंगल का बड़ा हिस्सा और आईटीआई भवन आ गया है. नैनीताल जिला मुख्यालय के पास के जंगलों में आग विकराल हो गई है. आग से पाइंस क्षेत्र में स्थित हाई कोर्ट कॉलोनी को भी खतरा पैदा हो गया है जबकि क्षेत्र में यातायात भी प्रभावित हुआ है.
