Kundan Lal is convicted for the murder and sentenced to prison. His family undergoes hard times, and his son Raju becomes an expert safe-cracker. Raju lives a life of crime but a chance meeting with Leena, a judges daughter, makes Raju realizes the futility of following such a dangerous profession.
