The star is reportedly back in Mumbai to attend her father's death anniversary and to inaugurate the road to be named after him

Priyanka Chopra was shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do in Europe since the last few weeks.The actor has flown back to Mumbai to attend her father's death anniversary. Pee Cee's father Dr Ashok Chopra passed away on June 10, 2013 after a prolonged battle with cancer.

Yari Road, which is close to the Chopra residence, will be named after Dr Ashok Chopra to mark his death anniversary. The inauguration of the road will be followed by a memorial and is said to be attended by close family members, friends, and volunteers of the number of NGO's he worked for.

An overwhelmed Priyanka, while confirming the news said," It's a surprise and a huge honor. My family and I are overwhelmed." The Barfi! actor has taken a break from the shoot of Zoya Akhtar's next film to be present for the ceremony. She is said be joining the team in Europe in the next four to five days.
