In this Bollywood Hungama exclusive interview with Content Head Broadband Faridoon Shahryar, Mukesh Bhatt talks about the diktats of the newly appointed Censor Board, headed by Pahlaj Nihalani and how it has created problems and panic within the industry. The filmmaker makes some very important comments on this burning issue. He emphasizes that the censor board should be free of political interference. He also expresses surprise at Pahlaj's appointment, whose films boast of objectionable content, and observed that government often want their own stooge in the board. He says that he is angry at the fact that the industry is so heavily taxed and that the finance minister Arun Jaitley didn't mention about the fraternity during the 2015 Union Budget session. He reveales that he wants to meet Mr Narendra Modi to find solutions to these issues. He makes his disgust clear on the recent statement of Sadhvi Prachi on the Khans. He also criticizes the new system where the producers are forced to pay the staff of an actor, resulting in the increase in production costs. Don't miss!
