संघ प्रमुख मोहन भागवत ने दशहरा रैली पर कहा- भारत को हिंदू राष्ट्र कहने का मतलब अल्पसंख्यकों को डराना नहीं है। डराना संघ के स्वभाव में नहीं है। अगर कोई भारत को हिंदू राष्ट्र न माने तो न माने, कोई दिक्कत नहीं। संघ प्रमुख ने कट्टरपंथ और आतंकवाद का सबको विरोध करना चाहिये। उदयपुर और अमरावती की नृशंस घटनाओं के खिलाफ़ मुसलमानों ने भी आवाज़ उठाई है। ..मोहन भागवत ने जनसंख्या नियंत्रण का मुददा भी उठाया, और कहा कि ये सबपर लागू हो, समान रूप से लागू हो, हिंदू-मुसलमान...किसी को भी इसमें छूट न हो।
