PM Modi Statement: संसद के विशेष सत्र (Parliament Special Session) की शुरुआत प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (Narendra Modi) के संबोधन से हुई है. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि संसद का पुराना भवन भी आने वाली पीढ़ियों को प्रेरणा देता रहेगा. संसद की पुरानी इमारत को भले ही विदेशी शासकों ने बनवाया लेकिन इसमें पसीना और पैसा भारतीयों को लगा है. पुराने संसद भवन में विशेष सत्र के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि देश की 75 साल की संसदीय यात्रा इसका एक बार पुनः स्मरण करने के लिए और नए सदन में जाने से पहले उन प्रेरक पलों को, इतिहास की महत्वपूर्ण घड़ी को स्मरण करते हुए आगे बढ़ने का यह अवसर है. हम सब इस ऐतिहासिक भवन से विदा ले रहे हैं. आजादी के पहले यह सदन इंपीरियल लेजिस्लेटिव काउंसिल का स्थान हुआ करता था.
Breaking News Live Update: Special session of Parliament is starting from today. The special session lasting 5 days will start in the old building of the Parliament i.e. the session will start in the old Parliament. Today, achievements and lessons of 75 years of parliamentary journey will be discussed in both the Houses. It is believed that PM Narendra Modi will have a concluding speech in this discussion. Tomorrow i.e. on 19th September, the proceedings of the Parliament will be shifted to the new building. There are 4 bills listed by the government for this session. However, the opposition believes that the government has not only called a special session to pass these bills but also has a hidden agenda. In the all-party meeting held yesterday, the opposition demanded that the Women's Reservation Bill be passed in a special session. However, the government has made it clear that the right decision will be taken on this at the right time.
